LOOKING FOR AN APPRENTICESHIP? 

We have an Apprentice Administrative Assistant vacancy starting July 2017 for the right individual at our new offices off Station Road, North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6 9AP. Wage is £4.00 per hour starting (with 6 month appraisals and reviews throughout training) and the working week is approximately 36 hours + overtime  if required, between Monday and Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-1pm. The Apprenticeship will be based over two years 

Desired Skills:   Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages especially Outlook, Excel and Word.

                          Driving licence advantageous 

Personal Skills: The successful candidate will have great telephone manner, be organised and able to communicate well.
                          You will pride yourself on great customer service and ensure your work is done to highest standard.
                          The right person should be self-motivated and with a keen desire to progress
                          This role will be predominately looking after the procurement of materials and maintaining records of hired plant.  
Areas of work:   Maintain and administer staff personnel and training files when required 
                          Filing and entering of all supplier information 
                          Work safety within companies Health & Safety policy 
                          Maintain records of sub-contractor’s hours when required 
                          Maintain a working and professional relationship with all customers, work force and suppliers 
                          Maintain levels of stock of work wear PPE 
                          Maintain all stationery and stock as required 
                          Answering the telephone 
                          Organise travel and accommodation for sub-contractors as required 
                          Update and manage the holiday register 
                          Recording and highlighting the service repair and maintenance of company fleet    
                          Assisting in recording and reporting of all staff injuries   
                          Assisting in recording and reporting all fleet vehicle accidents 
                          Helping company promote and advertise where required and requested inc learning Facebook, Linkedin,

                          Twitter media sources and how we can promote within these areas 
                          Maintaining and updating media such as website and social media 
                          Replying to all emails accordingly and reporting as necessary 
                          Typing quotes and filing as requested 
                          Opening new jobs on Software

This will be work based with release days at Lincoln college, further external training will be given in media promotion & software as required.
